Set in Indiana: Lonesome Jim

I happened to catch the movie trailer for for the independent film Lonesome Jim on Apple:
Jim (Casey Affleck) begrudgingly returns to his hometown in rural Indiana after failing to make it on his own in New York. He soon remembers why he left: a doting but overbearing mother (Mary Kay Place), a distant father (Seymour Cassel), and a depressed older brother (Kevin Corrigan) whose “accidents” seem suspect at best.
Internet Movie Database has more, including some reviews from folks who saw the film at festivals.

Was shot in Elkhart. The screenwriter apparently lives there/is from there. Steve Buscemi directed, and my college roomie met him in a dive bar up there while they were shooting...

I saw one of Casey Affleck's other movies 'Gerry' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0302674/). During the first 10 min of the movie, there was no dialog. Just two guys driving. So maybe it starts slow? No. After the driving, we get to see the same two guys walking aimlessly in the desert for what seems to be forever. Although the movie is only about 100 min long, it seems like an eternity. A good sign, the trailer for Lonesome Jim has more dialog than all of Gerry. I'll have to check it out.
